Riding High

Today we rode the el to and from Lakeview to play in a new park and grab lunch at Panes, which was Matt's favorite sandwich shop when he lived in Lakeview. The sandwiches are amazing and the kids love taking the train. A win for everyone!

Medieval Times

Part of our family fun weekend included dinner at Medieval Times. It was the first time we had all had lots of fun! The food was good and the kids really enjoyed eating with their hands and the show was entertaining for Charlie and Evy! I only managed to take one picture due to a lack of cooperation, but it was a good picture. 

Practice Preschool

I wish I would have found this sooner, but today Evy and I went to a practice preschool. Parents had to stay, but the morning consisted of circle time, story time, play time, and snack time. Evy was very into it and even brought her new backpack. Slowly but surely I want to get her ready for preschool later this year. 

Tae Kwon Do Orange Belt

Charlie tested today and moved up from a yellow to an orange belt. Charlie has been working hard the last couple months and has never missed a week of class. All of his hard work has paid off and he is now officially an orange belt. Charlie finished at White Tiger last month and is taking a short break while we find another studio in Park Ridge. His goal is a black belt!

In the end he wanted to be bald, we settled on a buzz cut. He looks pretty cute and ready for the heat.
