Creeping

It is time for gates! Last night, Charlie started army crawling across the floor. He still has not figured out how to pull up his knees and move forward, but we assume it is only a matter of time.

Arms Up

Charlie knows what he wants and now he knows how to ask. When he wants to be picked up he reaches towards you with his arms up. He will even roll from his stomach to his back now when I say, “up”, so that I can pick him up.

On the Island of Misfit Toys there was a Charlie-in-the-box. Now we have our own!

Fall Memories

This past Saturday was not quite what I envisioned for Charlie's first trip to a pumpkin patch. I pictured sweaters and hats, hot apple cider and a cool fall wind as we picked apples and searched for the perfect pumpkins. Instead it was a balmy 85 degrees, there were no apples left on the trees for picking, we were in shorts and sweating amongst the crowd of people. Not quite the perfect day for picking pumpkins, but at least we took a few good photos.            

Class of 2032

Grandma Dobry bought this Iowa Hawkeye's jacket for Charlie this past weekend. Perhaps Charlie will be the next Dobry to attend The University of Iowa.
