Charlie was watching a YouTube video of a kid who made his own pop machine out of cardboard. As he was watching the video he was carefully taking notes of the supplies he needed and the step-by-step instructions so he could create his own. He showed all of this to Matt and asked if they could make this and of course, like the good dad he is, he ordered the supplies. After waiting for all the parts to arrive the boys started creating a soda machine. It took slightly longer than Matt had anticipated, but Charlie was very proud of his invention!

Evy's First Birthday Party (without Charlie)

Evy was so excited to be invited to her first birthday party - one that she would be attending by herself - at Chuck E Cheese!  (Little does she know Charlie has always gone out of his way to bring her with him to parties, he has often asked for an invitation for her.) It was a fun afternoon that included lots of fun and games with friends.

Cub Scout Shoebox

Who knew it could be so much fun to pack shoe boxes? Tonight we did a service project with Charlie's Cub Scouts pack, we worked with Operation Christmas Child and filled shoe boxes with soap, toothbrushes, toys, crayons, wash clothes and gloves. The kids also wrote a personal letter for each box. With the Christmas music jamming, Charlie packed 8 boxes and Evy packed 3. They loved the entire project!

It's SNOWING!

The first snowfall of the year didn't stick for long, but this girl didn't care. She was so excited to see the snow blowing, she can't wait for more!
