September Photos

I added a few more photos to the July-September album that I did not post on the blog. They are cute and worth a look!

"My New Game"

Charlie called me into my bedroom yesterday to show me his "new game". His "game" consists of him falling face first onto our bedroom pillows. It was quite amusing. Check out the video tab for a live version.

The Wheels on the Bus

A few months ago we lined up our dining room chairs and pretended that it was a school bus. Charlie loves making a bus at home and yesterday at the library he used all of the chairs in the kids section to make a bus. He took a few (stylish) rides before we headed home.

Charlie's Haircut

Every time Charlie gets a haircut he looks so much older and based on the amount of hair tat take off he probably weighs 4 pounds less.

Labor Day Vacation

Last year for Labor Day weekend we rented a house in Cedar Lake, Indiana. We had such a great weekend we decided to go back again this year.

This weekend was going to be a test for Charlie. He cannot fit in his old pack and play so we decided to let him sleep in the full size bed that was in his room. He did an amazing job not only staying in his bed, but staying asleep all night. We were surprised and thrilled because we may finally get to move him to a big boy bed at home. Future posts to follow.

Our first full day it rained a lot, so we headed to a mall that was about 25 minutes from Cedar Lake. There was a merry-go-round for Charlie to ride, he played in the indoor playground, spent some time in a drawing class in the Disney Store and we ended our morning at Build-A-Bear.

(he's a little nervous!)

We spent lots of time enjoying the great outdoors and even managed to fit in two swimming sessions on Friday and Monday. We had a great weekend and Charlie was not happy about going home, but I think he was just going to miss the chocolate donuts he got to have one morning for breakfast!
