For President's Day weekend we went to Fontana, Wisconsin and stayed in Grandpa Newsham's condo. We spent all day Saturday swimming at the Abby. Charlie loved the water, but I think his favorite part was the water slide. It was a fun weekend!

Children's Museum
We visited the Children's Museum on Navy Pier for the first time this past weekend. Charlie was a big fan! We went into different rooms throughout the museum and Charlie was able to dig for dinosaur bones, drive the CTA bus, shop for groceries, change tires on a car and climb into a tree house.
After the museum we stopped in the Crystal Gardens and Charlie enjoyed watching the waterfalls and trying to make them dance on cue. It was our first trip with Charlie to Navy Pier, but it probably will not be our last.

Lounging
On Tuesday I picked Charlie up from school and he was noticeably tired. When we got home, he did not want to play he just wanted to watch "cow" his favorite DVD. After I turned on his show I went to the kitchen to start dinner. A few minutes later I came in to check on him and this is what I found...
With the exception of the "boof" he looks pretty cute!
Pudding Everywhere!
I bought Charlie chocolate pudding a couple weeks ago. I thought it would be a good after dinner dessert -- it is sugar-free and has calcium and apparently he agrees!

Charlie's First Sledding Trip
During Christmas break we took Charlie to Oz Park to sled for the first time. (Check out the video gallery for footage from the hill). He went down the hill with Matt and me a few times and quickly decided he was ready to go alone, much to my dismay! Charlie's exact words were, "me tummy" and that is what he did. He got on his tummy and hit the slopes.
