Happy 4th Birthday Charlie!

Charlie woke up bright and early to celebrate his birthday. He made his way downstairs to find the entire house decorated and  a brand new bike! He was so excited to try it out he jumped right on! After riding his bike around the house for a few minutes he enjoyed his breakfast of waffles and chocolate milk before heading out to celebrate his birthday at school. Once at school he shared his favorite book, Going on a Bear Hunt, with the class and he passed out his birthday chocolate donuts. Matt was able to join him at school for the morning and read his book to the class and shared his birthday timeline video with Charlie's classmates. After school Charlie rode his bike around the house until it was time for his favorite dinner of macaroni and cheese followed up with chocolate cupcakes. I think he had a great birthday!

Massage Chair

While cleaning out the linen closet I came across the massage chair Matt bought me while I was pregnant with Charlie. When Charlie got home from school he wanted to give it a try. He ended up spending 15  minutes in the chair. What a life!

Charlie's Work

Matt took advantage of one of his office perks and got us tickets to go up to the Skydeck in Willis Tower. Charlie has been telling us for weeks that he works in the Willis Tower, so when he found out we were going he was so excited to show us around his "work".  I will post a family picture as soon as I order it.

Sibling LOVE

Charlie may win the award for the best big brother ever! His sister certainly loves him.

Do you want to build a snowman?

We decided to expend some energy outside today and build Charlie's first snowman. He helped us build and went on a search around the neighborhood for his arms (aka sticks). It was a fun afternoon at home!

(Look at the handsome boy and snowman!)

(Blue eyed snowman just like the other men of the house)
