Come Hike With Me Part II

Today, I was able to spend the morning hiking with Evy. It was much warmer than the last time I was able to stay. We spent the morning exploring the nature center and enjoying the sunshine.

First Baseball Practice

Today, Charlie had his first team baseball practice and we found out his best friend Jack is on his team! He is very excited to start the baseball season and he had some pretty good hits today. Play ball!

Spring Break - Part II in Park City

The rest of our group headed to Moab and we decided to go back to Park City where we would all eventually meet up. We made a very good decision because Evy had done as much as she could do and she was not doing anymore hiking. We spent several days in Park City. We enjoyed delicious meals, explored the city, rode the alpine coaster, visited Olympic Village, completed an obstacle course and even zip lined.

Spring Break - Round 2 in Bryce Canyon

After a very long day of hiking, we learned that kids actually don't like hiking. None of them! Being on a vacation that requires lots of hiking, this could have been a problem, but everyone except Evy rallied. After day one, Evy did not want to ever go on a hike again. EVER! We made it into Bryce Canyon and not much further, so she and I spent some of the morning watching Moana in the car while everyone checked out the beautiful Bryce National Park. Everyone else hiked down into the canyons and there were some amazing views along the way.

Spring Break - Round 2 in Utah

We are in Utah with the Spriggs family and the O'Brien family for our epic spring break 2.0. After a long day of traveling from Chicago to Salt Lake City, we enjoyed a late dinner before calling it a night. On Saturday we were up bright and early to explore parts of Salt Lake before grabbing In and Out Burger and heading to the house we rented near Zion National Park.
