Pure Michigan

We spent the weekend in New Buffalo, Michigan with friends. The weekend was very relaxing and consisted of swimming either in a pool or at the beach and hanging out in the forest. Needless to say, Charlie was one happy boy.

Evy and I were packing for our trip to Michigan when I came across some bows in her drawer. I thought I would give them a try , but given the fact that she refuses to wear and will not keep a  hat on her head I didn't have much hope. Much to my surprise...she left it in for about a half hour!

Today we took Charlie and Evy to see caves, which was also a first for Matt and me. Evy was not as impressed as Charlie, but she liked playing in the sand before we went underground.

We spent a couple hours at the beach, which made Charlie and Evy very happy. He loved swimming in the water and playing in the sand.
