Bestie's Party

Today we went to Charlie's best friend Lilija's birthday party. He was the only boy invited, so I wasn't sure if he was going to be shy or completely crazy. He was perfect!The party was circus themed and the kids were taught various circus activities. I think Charlie found his calling and he may be circus bound! He loved trying the different tricks and even Evy got in on the action. It was a morning full of fun and cake. What could be better?

Walk-A-Thon 2015

Another successful walk-a-thon completed! The weather cooperated in the morning and Charlie's class was able to finish their entire 45 minutes on the track. Charlie managed to complete 10 laps with his friends and had a great time. After school we spent a couple hours at school and enjoyed the bouncy houses, face painting and a magician show. Charlie had a great day and once again labeled it, "the best day of the year"!

Summer Hair

Charlie's school friend Leo recently got his haircut and Charlie liked how short it was and he'e been telling me that he wanted something similar. Today, when we walked in to get his hair cut today he asked Theresa to take it all off. She winked at me, so I knew he was not going to end up with a buzz cut, but it is short. He's ready for summer and I now I need to buy extra sunscreen for his nearly bald head! 

A Moment in the Life of Evy

I found a few pictures in my phone of Evy that made me laugh. She is turning into such a character. She always makes silly faces and tries to make you laugh. I love watching her personality develop and I cannot wait to see what more she has in store for us.

It's Chicken Week

We are back on chicken duty this week and the kids are thrilled. Matt got to go with us today and witness how much fun Evy and Charlie have with the chickens. It's not my favorite job, but I love seeing them so happy!
