Charlie-isms

For months I have thought about writing down some of the things that Charlie says because we are often shocked by what he says and how much he knows. Tonight was a perfect example of why his statements need to be recorded. Matt started a list a few weeks ago that we are trying to keep updated, but tonight was so funny I had to share.

Since Charlie started school I always ask him when I pick him up what he learned that day (something my dad asked me even through graduate school). Sometimes he tells me about a friend or a new song and sometimes he says nothing. A couple weeks ago he starting asking Matt and me what we learned on that specific day. Tonight he asked me what I learned today and I said, "I learned that I love Charlie very much". (Yes, I already knew that but it seemed like a good answer). Then I asked him what he learned and he said, "I learned that I am the best Charlie ever". Where does he come up with these things?

He is pretty great!
