Magic Kingdom - Day 1

As we departed the ferry boat and headed towards the Magic Kingdom a tired Charlie perked up when he heard Disney music. As soon as we walked onto Main Street, we saw that there was a show taking place at the castle so we headed over. The shows included; Donald, Daisy, Mickey, Minnie, Peter Pan, Captain Hook and Maleficent. It was fate and Charlie was thrilled.We actually saw the show twice, once as we were coming and once as we were heading to lunch.

After the show ended we headed to our first ride of the day, Pirates of the Carribean. The ride is a little dark and loud, but as suspected Charlie loved it. In fact, every time we got off a ride he said "I want to go again". Clearly, he was enjoying himself.

After riding Aladdin's Magic Carpet ride and the Jungle Cruise we headed towards the Haunted Mansion. On our way we had our first character siting. Charlie was a little nervous at first, but he relaxed a bit.

After the Haunted Mansion we headed to lunch to take a break and get out of the sun. We ended our day with the Buzz Lightyear ride where Charlie also got to meet Buzz. Those pictures are coming as soon as I can get to my mom's camera. After the ride they let you out right into the gift shop, which is great for all parents. Charlie wanted something (not surprising) and he picked out a Zurg action figure, which he does not have at home. On the way home, despite being ready for his nap he was a happy camper playing with his bad guy.
