After a very rainy start to our day, we decide to take the chance of getting rained on and head to the zoo. We went 30 minutes before it closed (the buildings close, but the grounds stay open a little later) and checked out a few houses before they locked them up. Then we walked around and checked out all of the animals that were still outside. We ended up spending almost 2 hours walking around and there was no one there. It was the perfect way to end the day.
