Holy Cow - He's 9!

Who knew 9 years could go by so fast? In the blink of an eye, my baby boy, the baby that made me a  mom turned 9.

Charlie is so special and every year I look forward to seeing what he will learn and what he will teach me. He loves dodgeball, kickball and four square. He still loves all things Cubs and baseball, but also had an amazing basketball season. He loves math, reading and social studies and is excelling in all of his school academics. He still reads more than any other 9 year old I know and actually enjoys it. He loves hanging out with his friends and he has a great group of them. He has developed a love of video games and spent the past 3 months learning and ultimately beating the game of Zelda. He would love to have his own YouTube channel, but I am keeping that from happening. He is still the sweetest big brother and occasionally will even still play with Evy. He is very observant, sensitive and has a huge heart. He loves making people laugh and telling a good joke. He always wants an explanation and tries to find ways to make sense of this world we live in.

He has a story to tell and this is just the beginning!  I have no doubt that it will be amazing.
