Charlie walked into room 101 for the last time today as a preschooler. The first order of business this morning was to celebrate the kids "stepping up" to the next grade level, Charlie is now a junior kindergartner. They all received Hawaiian leis in different colors each representing the grade the kids will be moving to during the next school year. Then we said good-bye to Charlie's teacher Miss Kate who is moving to Oklahoma and that a sad good-bye. After we said all of the good-byes it was time to head outside to the picnic and what an experience it was! Everyone packed lunches and blankets and picked a spot on the grass. It was fun to catch up with parents and watch the kids play. After an exhausting two hours we headed home and officially ended the 2013-2014 school year.
