It was too cold to do just about anything, so we headed over to meet Santa at Macy's. We were not prepared with cute Christmas outfits, but the kids did not care one bit. They were both very excited to meet Santa. When he asked them what they wanted for Christmas Charlie requested, "a real puppy" and Evy asked for a "new Ella". Once Santa explained to Charlie that he was unlikely to get a puppy this year (which I am sure he figured out quickly from my expression) Evy tapped him on the leg and asked him where she could find her Ella. Evy was under the impression that she would get her gift right then and there. Two kids walked out of Macy's very confused, but at least there is a good picture!
