Family RV Trip - New Haven, CT

We rolled into New Haven, CT and made a grand entrance. We opened the RV door in front of our hotel (our second hotel of the trip) and Charlie vomited. He instantly felt better, which was the good news because it was the 4th of July.

We started our trip with long hot showers and a nap, it was very nice to be in a real bed. After we got up we went to an early dinner and then toured the Yale Campus before heading to the Omni Hotel to watch the fireworks.

After the firework celebration we headed back to the hotel for a good night sleep. Before heading out of New Haven we stopped at a restaurant near our hotel that is famous for inventing the hamburger. The story goes, someone wanted a sandwich to go so cook grilled a meat patty and put in on two pieces of white bread. It was a long wait, but a fun stop.
