Spring Break: Crazy Horse and Mt. Rushmore

Today we visited Crazy Horse and Mount Rushmore. We began our day at Crazy Horse. We watched a movie in the museum on site about the history of the site. This project began in 1948 and they still have a lot more to go. It's likely Charlie will take his kids to see this one day and it will look very similar! After spending some time in the museum we headed towards our final destination of the day - Mt. Rushmore. Mt. Rushmore is a beautiful national park, although quite smaller than we imagined it would be. We are so happy that we finally got to see this National Monument in person and share the experience with Evy and Charlie. The very long drive was worth seeing these amazing sites!
